SUMMARY:How To Stay Vertical!
DESCRIPTION:In normal circumstances\, when we are young\, our balance and co-ordination is good\, or at least \n\n\nadequate.   As toddlers\, we are very well balanced on our feet with good head and back \n\n\nalignment.  However\, in later life\, our ability to be well balanced on our feet becomes impaired;   \n\n\nthis can also be the case with certain medical conditions\, such as Parkinson’s Disease\, \n\n\nOsteoporosis\, Arthritis.   This can leave us with a fear of falling.  I can resonate with this.  In 2015 I \n\n\nbroke my left wrist in four places\, whilst on holiday in Australia!  Following a bone scan it was \n\n\ndiscovered that I had the onset of Osteoporosis in my lower spine.   I therefore developed this \n\n\nworkshop to look at body alignment with emphasis on balance and co-ordination in everyday \n\n\nmovements.
