No, we are not looking at breaking bones! We will be learning how to relieve tension and
pain/postural problems. My own discovery with the Alexander Technique started with Sciatica
(lower back pain). It was pointed out to me that my postural habits were contributing to my pain
in that, for years, I had been interfering with the delicate balance of the body. By learning how to
undo these poor postural habits, I was able to release tension and ease the pain. You will learn
how to release patterns of tension that build up when carrying out every day activities, to enable
you to move in an easier, freer way.
